Man Arrested After Robbing Patchogue Bank: Police

PATCHOGUE, NY – A 26-year-old man was arrested after he robbed a bank in Patchogue Saturday afternoon, Suffolk Police said. According to police, Jawan Davenport entered the TD Bank located at 251 East Main St. at about 1:15 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. Read more here

Man Arrested After Robbing Patchogue Bank: Police Suffolk Police reported, Jawan Davenport, 26-year-old from Belfort, was detained after robbing the TD Bank located at 251 East Main St., Saturday afternoon. Police said, about 1:15 p.m., he approached the teller and gave a note demanding cash which the teller fulfilled and he escaped in a Silver Nissan. Police Officer Bryan Lawrence of Fifth Precinct responded to the alert and arrested the man soon. The suspect will be charged with third-degree burglary and will be in custody overnight at the Fifth Precinct. On Sunday, he is scheduled to be prosecuted at First District Count in Central Islip.
